Our Retreat are excited to announce a retreat with Cat Meffan bringing you a luxury Yoga and Meditation retreat, held at our stunning farmhouse in Somerset. This retreat will be offering you daily yoga & meditation sessions along with gong baths and sound journeys, country walks and some relaxation time to yourself.
Cat Meffan is an advanced yoga teacher, teaching vinyasa flow, rocket, yin, power yoga, restorative and meditation. As an ex-gymnast and dancer, Cat’s passion for movement has evolved over many years, seeing her teaching creative sequences and flows, with a hint of humour and light-heartedness as she goes.
Expect fun and friendly classes where all levels are welcome and classes that you’ll walk away feeling ready to take on anything. On Cat's retreats she will take you not only on a physical journey, but a mindful one too, where you will learn a lot about yourself, your passions and feel excited for the future
A Typical Day
Start the day with a delicious juice followed by morning meditation with Cat, who will guide you though your practice to increase your awareness and be present in the moment, allowing you to reduce stress, promote relaxation and prepare you for the day ahead.
Dynamic Flow Yoga
Following a mindful morning meditation, its time to focus your thoughts and body with a guided session of Dynamic Flow Yoga. Cat's fun approach to teaching yoga will leave you feeling worked out, and with new postures to master each day, she will keep the challenge high while you nurture both body and mind.
Time to fuel up. An energising breakfast prepared with care by our onsite chef will send your taste buds into a frenzy and give you a much-needed boost after your invigorating morning yoga workout.
Our walks are always an adventure, leading you through the dramatic and stunning setting of the English countryside. Acres of forest land are right on the door step of our Farmhouse. A perfect way to exercise without feeling the pain and the views and pathways will take your breath away.
It’s time to step back and enjoy a freshly prepared, mouth-watering lunch. Our food often goes down as people’s favourite part of their experience at Our Retreat.
We believe the best hours of the day are best spent relaxing so lunch is always followed by some free time to yourself. Take yourself off for an afternoon nap, curl up by the fire and read your favourite book or indulge in a spot of pampering...the choice is yours.
Time for some restorative and yin yoga to calm the mind, stretch the body and hold your poses, which allow a deeper stretch and calmness of the mind.
Your evening meal will surprise and delight you every time. The chefs work hard to produce only the finest dishes and becomes an exciting affair for the whole group to enjoy.
Evening meditation, gong baths and sound journeys awaits you (along with some hidden surprises along the way) which will assist to enhance your personal and spiritual growth.
