FAQ ON COVID-19 & USEFUL INFORMATION

In a world where everything is constantly changing, we understand you may be cautious when looking to book a trip away with us – so we have put together the most frequently asked questions regarding booking and cancellations due to COVID-19 restrictions to reassure you in these unprecedented times.
 I AM INTERESTED IN BOOKING A TRIP BUT I AM WORRIED THAT IF IT GETS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID 19 THAT I’LL LOSE MY DEPOSIT

We only ask for 30% deposit to secure your booking and we have extended your final balance payment to 5 weeks before you travel. This way we can review what is happening travel wise in the current climate. If a retreat gets cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions all deposits will be transferable to any other retreat, in any country in the future (up to 2 years) We will do our utmost to accommodate you on a suitable alternative date.

 I HAVE BOOKED MY TRIP AND FLIGHT BUT IT HAS BEEN ADVISED BY THE FCO NOT TO TRAVEL TO THAT COUNTRY. AM I LIABLE FOR A REFUND FOR MY TRIP AND FLIGHTS?

If we have to cancel the retreat due to COVID-19 restrictions we will transfer your booking onto another retreat. Our Retreat is not liable for losses that occurred to expenses like flights and transfers. We highly recommend you take out extra insurance to cover you in such cases

 I REALLY WANT TO BOOK A RETREAT BUT AM WORRIED ABOUT COVID-19. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES YOU ARE TAKING TO MAKE THE RETREAT AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE?

As guidelines are changing constantly we will be following the Government guidelines on COVID-19 at the time of travel in the country we will be visiting. All our venues have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for you to train so you can feel assured that there will be room for you to socially distance. We have also lowered the number of guests we normally have attending Our Retreat as to make the whole experience more comfortable for you. We will also be carrying out extra cleaning procedures daily in and around the villa to make sure everything is sanitised.

 HOW DO I KNOW WHERE I CAN TRAVEL AND IF IT IS SAFE?

Your safety is our main priority and we will constantly be monitoring the FCO guidelines for our destinations and will amend, adjust and communicate accordingly. We do strongly advise before you book any destination with Our Retreat you comply with the ‘FCO’ travel advise. We recommend you read the Government Travel Advice HERE.
