A beautiful Balance - Pilates and Yoga Retreat

Our Retreat have teamed up with Lottie Murphy and Emily Spriggs to bring you a luxury Pilates  and Yoga retreat, held at our stunning farmhouse in Somerset. This retreat will be offering you daily Pilates, dynamic yoga & meditation sessions along with long country walks, facial workshops, relaxation and some 'you' time.

Lottie’s Pilates classes are fun, dynamic and more challenging than they look. You’ll be worked from head to toe strengthening and stretching as well as improving your posture, coordination and core stability. Lottie believes good alignment, breathing and mindfulness are all key to gaining the most from your workout so you’ll come away from each session with so much more than sore glutes and abs. Lottie has taught with a very wide range of clients from beginners to established Pilates teachers and people of all ages with various conditions and injuries so anyone and everyone can enjoy a session with Lottie. 

Along with your Pilates sessions you will also have the benefits of daily yoga and meditation sessions with Emily. Classes with Emily are fluid, uplifting and dynamic. She likes to flow with grace and ease through the postures and she takes great pride in providing dedicated care and assistance to all guests. 

On the retreat, Lottie  and Emily will be there there to answer any questions you have about Pilates, yoga, health, fitness and having a balanced lifestyle. This retreat will leave you feeling refreshed, rested and rejuvenated. 

 

A Typical Day

Morning yoga

Start the day as you mean to go on with a fluid, uplifting and dynamic yoga session with Emily in our stunning farmhouse. You will be guided through your morning flow with grace and ease in the supportive hands of Emily, who takes great pride in providing dedication, care and encouragement to hit new goals every sessions. You will be given new postures to master each day, which will keep the challenge high while you nurture both body and mind.

Breakfast

Time to fuel up. An energising breakfast prepared with care by our onsite chef will send your taste buds into a frenzy and give you a much-needed boost after your invigorating morning workout.

Pilates

You’ll never be far away from activity. An mid morning session of Pilates with Lottie is the perfect way to hone your strength. These sessions are dynamic and more challenging than they look. You'll be worked from head to toe, strengthening and stretching as well as improving your posture, coordination and core stability. Lunch

It’s time to step back and enjoy a freshly prepared, mouth-watering lunch. Our food often goes down as people’s favourite part of their experience at Our Retreat. 

Free time

We believe the best hours of the day are best spent relaxing so lunch is always followed by some free time to yourself. Take yourself off for an afternoon nap, curl up by the fire and read your favourite book or indulge in a spot of pampering...the choice is yours.

Walks

Our walks are always an adventure, leading you through the stunning setting of the English countryside. Acres of forest land are right on the door step of our Farmhouse. A perfect way to exercise without feeling the pain, the views and pathways will take your breath away. 

Pilates/ Yoga/ Barre

You’ll never be far away from activity. An afternoon of Pilates, Yoga or Barre is the perfect way to strengthen and stretch your body.  These sessions are focused but fun and will differ each day to focus on what your body needs. 

Dinner

Your evening meal will surprise and delight you every time. The chefs work hard to produce only the finest dishes so dinner becomes an exciting affair for the whole group to enjoy.

Evening entertainment

What’s a retreat without a little fun? Every evening you’ll have a different activity to enjoy with the group. Evening meditation, workshops, creating vision boards and movie nights.
