I booked onto my first retreat to get away from the London buzz. Exhausted from work, I needed to take time out for myself, relax and lose weight.
Although I was unsure what to expect and nervous in case I didn’t get along with the people, the retreat was a revelation.
Just being able to spend time with my own thoughts and get a sense of clarity immediately put to rest all my concerns about going it alone and before I knew it, I was an avid retreat-goer.
Chilled out yoga retreats, week long juice cleanses, boot camp style fitness retreats - you name it, I’ve tried it. I loved discovering different types of retreats so much, I went from being a guest myself to actually working on the retreats, helping to organise them and give people the best week possible
With all this experience under my belt, I felt strongly that there was a gap in the market for indulgent retreats which combined the best parts of all approaches in one luxury setting.
And because I loved the retreat lifestyle so much, it didn’t take long for me to take on the challenge of filling that gap myself.
In November 2015, the first Our Retreat break took place. With astounding results.
By organising the entire retreat myself, I free up my expert trainers and nutritionists to do what they do best and give myself the opportunity to deliver an unforgettable experience for every guest.
Each retreat now sees people who had an incredible experience with us once before return for another soothing week.
