Your Retreat Itinerary

On our two-night yoga retreat in Somerset, enjoy a long weekend filled with peace, growth and indulgence for all your senses. Here’s what you can look forward to.

Day 1

4pm – Arrive in the afternoon and check in before meeting the other retreat guests. We’ll set the tone and intention for the weekend with a workshop on yoga fundamentals, followed by a relaxing yoga class in the yurt to engage and unwind our bodies.

7.30pm – Sample the first of many freshly made and locally sourced dishes with the group in the evening and enjoy the chance to get to know each other. Enjoy the comfort of the farmhouse and its communal areas before retreating to bed for an uninterrupted night’s sleep.

Day 2

8am – 10am – We begin the first full day of our yoga retreat with a meditation session and pranayama practice. After focusing our minds, our expert instructor will then lead a dynamic flow class full of conscious movement to wake up your body.

10.30am – After the morning’s session, we gather for a fantastic buffet-style brunch filled with healthy options to nourish your body and soul ahead of the rest of the day. Enjoy free time after brunch to relax by yourself, take a dip in the wild swimming lake, or wander the grounds of the estate and admire the scenery.

1pm – 3.30pm – We’ll gather together for a mindful walk in the countryside, before returning to 42 Acres and for another pilates class or yoga workshop . Take a break to refuel with a light lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or having a massage.

6pm – We return to the yurt for a restorative yoga class to wind down and stretch after a day spent in the outdoors.

7.30pm – Dinner will be served buffet-style, with plenty of options for all our guests’ preferences. Spend the rest of the evening with the group beside the fire, or retire to your room to unwind in peace.

Day 3

8am – 10am – Our final day begins the same as the previous one, with a meditation and pranayama session followed by a dynamic flow class to awaken your body and breath.

10.30am – After another delicious brunch buffet, make the most of the estate’s facilities with a walk, swim, time in the garden or rest in the farmhouse.

1pm – We’ll come together for a closing ceremony to consolidate the events of the weekend and honour the work that we’ve done together.

2pm – 3pm You’ll enjoy one last lunch as a group before departing in the afternoon, feeling lighter, calmer and ready to step back into the world.

Welcome to Somerset

Known for its rolling farmland and golden sunsets, Somerset is the perfect place to feel closer to nature and yourself.

42 Acres was designed for retreats like ours, nestled within a secluded valley with over 170 acres of woodland, gardens and meadows to explore. The space is a sanctuary for wildlife as well as the people who visit, so whether you’re taking a dip in the wild swimming lake, bathing in the silence of the forest, or harvesting ingredients from the biodynamic vegetable patches, you’ll always be immersed in the natural world.

The Yurt

Yoga and Pilates classes are held in a beautiful yurt on the estate, providing a circular space to relax, breathe and practice. This year-round space is tranquil and calming space that overlooks the stunning English countryside. The yurt is equipped with heater and a log burner to warm you up in the colder months and stunning glass doors that open up in the summer months. This is the most magical place to deepen your practice.
