Intro

Louise is a physiotherapist, yoga, meditation and Pilates teacher and combines her scientific training and experience with the ancient wisdom and teachings of the eastern world to guide you to reach your body and minds full potential.

Background

Louise began her career working as a physiotherapist and Pilates teacher in professional sports. After a severe car accident and a difficult time of mental health, Louise found herself on a journey of deep healing and self exploration. This journey has taken her all over the world studying with highly respected teachers in yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

Her ethos in movement is to learn to honour and embrace your body on each new day, exactly as it is. “It is only the mind that thinks the body should be a certain way or achieve a special goal. When we learn to silence the mind we can lovingly accept our body as it is. From this loving acceptance comes the power for transformation”

The results for you

Experience yoga beyond the postures. Although yoga postures, alignments and the (famous “magic hands “) adjustments by Louise are important aspects of the yoga classes, there is so much more to yoga you will explore.

Each class will have a meditation and intention theme to it, helping you incorporate the teachings of yoga in to your day-to-day life. You will be guided on; understanding the mind and how to take back control of those wandering thoughts; self-acceptance and how we can learn to honour all parts of who we are; how to optimise our breath; how to adjust postures to your body’s needs; how to let go of tensions and stored emotions to free the body and mind from old aches, pains and patterns.

Expect a journey of self discovery, self exploration, friendships, laughter, relaxation and empowerment – as you awaken to your full body and minds potential.

Training Style

Each class will be designed to empower you with knowledge on how to safely explore and train your body to reach your full potential. Louise’s presence is soft, but her classes are strong. At the end of class her calming voice and presence will make you drift away in to a blissful guided meditation in shavasa.
